"My wife and I stayed at the Alberi for three nights. The room looked out on the lake. We walked everywhere with lots of restaurants nearby. Convenient, public parking is directly behind the hotel. The rooms were clean, very nicely sized and the staff was outstanding! A great continental breakfast with lots of delicious choices. We will be back to enjoy it again!"

"The location is perfect, right on Lake Como with a private beach. The room is good, bathroom a bit small but convenient. Nice balcony above the water. Because there is no restaurant at the hotel it would be handy to install a mini fridge and a coffee/tea maker. In the nearest village is a supermarket, MD, and everything is very cheap. To the other side is a great restaurant, Onnolulu."

"Will have to admit we almost passed up this little gem due to the fact it didn't list it had air conditioning in the room (stay was mid-Aug); hard to sleep if hot. The room did not have ac but the cool breeze off the lake was perfect! I am usually a mosquito attractant and will not sleep with the doors open but took the chance this time and had no issues. "It was up a hill a ways and a little hard to find. They had to turn on the heat for me. It wasn't very strong. Old radiator. Tv was tiny. Curtain would have been ineffective. They had storm shutters. That helped. Lots of road noise. Some guests left at 5 am. A little noisy. They wouldn't let you bring in outside food. The one chef was a little overwhelmed by the eight road workers staying there. I ended up skipping dinner. They didn't know I was coming. Didn't check their email. It was worked...
