"I was not expecting to stay in a side building made of bedrooms. It did not feel like a hotel at all. Just a bedroom in a building. When l asked why not staying in the small hotel building, the answer was l don’t have a choice or preference.????"

"Heerlijk en gezellig hotel. Alles keurig onderhouden, frisse en ruime kamers. Gastvrije ontvangst en service; gemoedelijk niet formeel, maar zeer correct. Verrassend leuk ingerichte ontbijt kamer. We zijn er een paar dagen aaneen geweest en hebben genoten van de wandelingen en tourtjes in de omgeving. ‘S avonds heerlijk genoten van de leuke restaurants/bistro’s, waaronder het Italiaanse restaurant L’inevitable. The shower was so tiny that I had to use it hunched over almost 90 degrees. There were multiple sockets that were closed off with just duct tape, and the kitchen was in serious need of repainting. "Le Moulin Simonis is a lovely hotel in a beautiful, quiet location. The staff are friendly, however the facilities are not as advertised. The restaurant was closed on the night we stayed and the bar & reception closed early evening. This wouldn’t have been an issue, had the listing not advertised these facilities. This is less a hotel, more a guest house / b&b."

"The hotel is well located in a beautiful and scenic part of the country. I used this as a stopover, close to European space centre and on the way to Disneyland Paris, but it's so much more than a stopover and I'm eager to return and use it as a base for canoeing the beautiful Semois valley. It is clean, comfortable, well decorated, has a great atmosphere and also benefits from being well served by really friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely breakfast and nice beer too!"
