"L'Esplanade is in the heart of Domme, a charming place and town with a wonderful view of the valley. Parking is an issue. We left our car in a metered space (without paying) for about 45 minutes while we were checking in and received a ticket. The staff directed us to an unmetered spot on the street and we left it there for the rest of our two day stay. BUT we were there off season (week after Easter). If you are going to stay there during a busier time you should research the parking options...

"Self payment of 0.5 euro won’t accept a card do have to book breakfast - which cost 5.5 euros and they didn’t get breakfast. Very tired "

"Great location, lovely pool! The rooms are spacious. It would. We didn't know until we left that there were some breakfast products available in the building next to the pool. Also, there wasn't any info on the gym. A bit more comprehensive info in English (probably other languages too) would really help. Also, check in time of 5pm is really late, and check out of 10 is too early. I appreciate they need to clean a whole apartment, but its difficult to work with those times."

"Overall a good stay, roof-top pool brilliant as was restaurant balcony though food including breakfast was mediocre and expensive. Surprised to discover hotel bar & restaurant were closed on Monday like all the cafes/restaurants in Le Bugue apart from one place over the bridge called L'Entrot Pot which saved the day! Usual struggle in France to get any vegetarian food as well."

"I have stayed here before as it has a lovely pool ( nice to relax at after sightseeing) and is in walking distance to all amenities. The rooms are simple and clean with all you would want with the exception of a hook to put the shower head on, however works well when holding it by hand. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would happily stay again."

"Belves is a beautiful medieval village, and Clement V a great place to stay. The owners were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We stayed for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding nearby, and as we were unlucky with the weather, they allowed us to borrow an umbrella, and also gave help with the best place to park in Belves with the local weekend markets going on at the same time.
