Depending on how your walking is, the beach is anything from 5-10 mins away, and what a beach it is. Julie's breakfast gives hotel chains a run for their money. "Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Location is brilliant - about a 20 metre walk and you’re on the Old Course!! Parking was easy and free nearby. Be aware that, quite typically of St Andrew’s, there is no lift so make sure you’re up to climbing stairs and also getting your luggage up and down yourself! Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend!!"

"Call out to the waiting staff, all very good. Special mention must go to the barman in the public bar, he was brilliant, on the ball all the time, despite being extremely busy . The breakfast waitress was also excellent. No complaints."

"Stayed here to go an ice hockey game. First time in Fife and staying in the Elbow Room. Amazing location for the Ice Hockey and lovely friendly staff. Room was clean and had no issues. Breakfast available 24 hours which was great. Will definitely stay again as place was full of character. "
