"The hotel appearance is consistent with the rest of the city. Wick is a bit dirty and industrial. However, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and food at the hotel was very good. We traveled to Wick for the coastline long hikes and that did not disappoint. The hikes were amazing and worth the effort to travel this far north."

The property looked like it had been a nursing home, it needed some landscaping outside we felt the security was not good as the main door which was not signposted was open and the room that we were given was unlocked and the door looked like it had had a letter box which was boarded up. "The Harbour Inn is a historic building and has a lot of character. I had the single room, #3, that had the bathroom across the hallway. The room itself has all the basics you need for coffee and tea, plus condiments and biscuits. The room has a view of the harbor. Breakfast was excellent! For the amount I paid and previous reviews, I was worried, but Ken and Virginia were welcoming hosts and you can't get something similar for the price in the US. "Our stay was great. We were delayed into town due to a canceled flight but Callum was there when we arrived and promptly showed us to our room. Our room was clean and sufficient for our needs. The area is good for walking around Wick. We didn’t have a chance to have a drink in the bar as it was closed the two evenings we were there. I would recommend and we plan to return again "
