"Hotel was well decorated in the main areas - looking fairly newly redone. The service was good. The only issue is the quality of the breakfast buffet is terrible - i mean really terrible. We arrived at breakfast around 9.30 - the eggs were like rubber, sausages the cheapest you can buy, bacon like rubber, instant coffee only. The toast was the highlight, which speaks volumes. Otherwise a great stay."

"Really nice room in a lovely coaching inn. Quality bedding , towels etc. comfy bed. Booked & prepaid thru Hotels.com and when we arrived we were a little taken aback to be charged an extra £20 for our little dog. It would have been nice to have known about this extra fee beforehand as it came as a bit of a shock , I didn’t get any reply from accommodation following my messaging them & also leaving a telephone message to say we’re bringing our dog. Other than that , a good stay. "

"I booked at the last minute via Expedia and selected the breakfast option. Slightly cheaper than the "official" Greene King site. Fantastic greeting by staff - the checking in procedure was very slick. The room was clean (two single beds - I only needed one). Bathroom had recently been refurbished. "The staff on reception were so friendly. The hotel was clean and modern inside. Bedrooms so warm with heat on. You can walk into Looe or drive down and park. Hotel has parking so that brilliant. The beach does f let dogs on there are any time which is a shame but they can walk along the path. Lots of cafes, pubs, eating places all dog friendly. Loved it there. "
