The hotel room was spacious, clear and you could tell that the bathrooms had recently been renovated. The location is perfect, and walkable to all the necessary areas around. The only difficult thing is getting to the hotel. If you take the train, just know there is a bus stop that is slightly hidden that will take you to the city center then you will have to walk to the hotel. But, that is just...

"This place is a gem! They were so nice, the location is within easy walking distance from the train station, the ferry, and the main downtown area. We loved the pool area. The breakfast is fantastic and we enjoyed wine and coffee from the bar. A really great property that is reasonably priced . Seems like this is not normal and due to some renovations happening. Overall, the hotel is very close to the waterfront, many restaurants and the views are beautiful."

"The hotel is perched on top of Ascona and isn’t in the old town but is about 10 mins walk down to the centre. There is limited hotel parking to call ahead to reserve it or else pay about 20 CHF per day at an offsite location which was a nuisance. This hotel has the ability to be nice provided it is EXTENSIVELY renovated. It is very dated but not in a charming way, it looks very tired.
