"Samann host is a linked to many sister hotels of the Samann group. The location in Hulhumale is a block from the beach located in a cozy side street. Landing pattern for the airports sea plane will be heard for a few minutes during the day. Many food and shopping locations in the area. Cons: lack of hot water only in the shower Amenities kit - shower soap subpar - no cleaning power washed away very easily. Pros: the staff very friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful Great breakfast...

"Great place to stay in the Maldives for a night before or after another resort or a liveaboard. Quick shuttle to and from the airport. Good breakkfast and nice rooftop restaurant for lunch or dinner."

"Blocks off the beach. Beach sand coral and coarse. Host is responsive and provides a concierge. Access to surfing spots. Seasonal temperature and humidity is bordering intolerable. Political graffiti is ever present. Beautiful islands, third world charm. Overwhelming Muslim environment, including social restrictions. Safe and fair value, fantastic effort by host and concierge as much as possible. Long and pricey taxi by boat ($50 a couple each way) to arrive at the property. Noise disturbances...

"The room that I stayed was noisy in the late night from the ferry area which is located close to the room. The bathroom was slippery when it get wet. I love the staff. They are wonderful and very helpful. "

"Lovely hotel with fantastic helpful friendly staff. Room great and spotlessly clean. Excellent food in the restaurant. Very quiet and peaceful when we visited. Thulusdhoo is a quiet local island, no alcohol available but that was no problem for us."

"The stay was very Good overall except for the Breakfast Cook was very non obliging arrogant and Not Responsive. We just wanted an alternate egg style. The Sri Lankan chef on the other hand was very Good. Please improve the Breakfast and get rid of that lazy chef and we will refer you more business "
