"The people are friendly and attentive. The property is well maintained. It is close enough to the altstadt that walking everywhere was no problem. The food recommendation from the receptionist “krokodil” was not very good and overpriced. Plenty of better places a short distance away. Otherwise all was great!"

It’s also a few minutes walk to the Water Tower. The property is a bit old and you can smell it as you come inside your room. However, the room is very clean and spacious. "The service was fantastic! Our family checked in pretty late and they offered us a special treatment allowing us to order a quick dinner after working hours! Great restaurant in the hotel which is located in downtown area and very convenient for walking and going to anywhere."

"The staff were friendly but there is no reception desk , no check in with a person and no lift Also the hotel is not in a good location. It is on the outskirts of Speyer and you need a car to get into the town centre."
