"Comfort hotel is always the best no frill hotel available to when visit Japan. It doesn’t have a lot of bell and whistle like other hotel, but it always have reasonable size room and hearty and healthy breakfast to keep you going when travelling around Japan."

"Good budget hotel 2 minutes from the station and about 20 mins from Hikone Castle. Room facilities were fine but no coffee? Lost a star for that ."

"What I loved about this hotel was that, unlike other Japanese hotels, the rooms were big, and easy to move around in. Most Japanese Hotel rooms are basically closets with a bed. The only improvement I could think of would be to make indoor safes (for personal valuables) available in all the rooms."
