"A real gem! Amazing location, v thoughtful touches in the room, friendly and great staff. We only stayed one night but it will be long remembered. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the water and relaxing in the room, it was so restorative. Great dinner in the restaurant too. "

"Great location right next to the sea. The amenities are well thought out, and everything is well maintained and clean. They also keep the beach clean, and it is a very quiet spot on the beach. Right next to some fishermen, other than that, you have the place to yourself. The food and drinks offered at the beach restaurant are delicious, and all the staff, as well as the German owner, are very nice people - thanks for the good time! I would recommend getting the bungalow right next to the beach....

"This is a hidden gem. Cabanas in a beautiful setting on a moat by the river entrance to the lake. Almost empty because tourism hasn’t come back here like the rest of the country. Amazing staff, good food, great prices and they’ll arrange a tour to Thale Noi too. A highlight of our trip."

"Comfortable stay near beach and Old Town. Staff is friendly but could up their game with respect to info on local sites and transportation. Room was clean and comfortable. Beds are on the harder end of the rather firm Thai spectrum. Food at in house restaurant was good and reasonably priced."

"Need to upkeep the decking, remove mold external of the building, indoor floor are uneven and metal nails head are sticking out. Those outdoor furniture on decking are covered with dust and filled with dried leaves at the edges."

"Arrived at the hotel very late but there are no staff at all. Environment is very dark and I couldn’t find the hotel even with the help of Google map & Waze. Thanks to a local people , he ride his bike and bring us to the hotel . Walk to the reception the door is locked, called the contact numbers paste on the glass door but no one answer the call. There are 3 contacts , the last one is the contact of the owner , someone answer the call but within 2 seconds he hung up. After that try to call...

"Great value, comfortable room, facility in great shape, pool very nice. The resort restaurant was very good and better than most in town. Great view from a 3rd floor room facing the sea. Looking forward to returning!"

"I paid $6. You get what you pay for. I got a bed, a cold-water shower with towels, a toilet, and a fan (no airconditoning). I was traveling alone and that's what I wanted. The place is old and beat to death. Good location. The owner is an old unfriendly grumpy unsmiling guy - but I wasn't staying there to make friends. Noisy AF - and especially so early in the morning. Not much to do in the town - but OK to walk around for 1/2 day. I found a good dim sum place for breakfast. If you are looking...
