"I was visiting Arran with my Australian niece and wanted her to fall in love with Scotland. "Property was quiet, a bit of noise from, other guests but only to be expected. This is quite a large hotel but we visited in February so I cannot vouch for what it is like in summer. Location is good and is convenient for beach, supermarkets and public transport. The staff we dealt with were efficient and friendly. We would visit again."

"Hotel is in a lovely location, we were lucky to get a view of the gardens (not the car park). Room was comfortable and clean, we were disappointed with the bathroom, there is mould on the ceiling and the shower mixer tap had the central section missing which would have shown how it worked (room 8 on group floor. "I enjoyed the stay. The room was quiet, the bathroom was new, check in was quick, the price was very good, bar was comfortable, drinks were not expensive. Didn't have breakfast. If you are looking for romantic stay then this is not the place but i think it was good and has character."
