"Ostan Loch Altan was an excellent place to rest on a looping, self-organized road trip through the hinterlands of County Donegal. The roadside inn is comfort, with spacious rooms (though the bed was on the soft side, so you felt a little like you were sinking toward the middle). "This was the third time we have stayed here and as usual the staff were amazing, friendly and professional. Breakfast was great. Lots of choice and all good qualify. We also ate in the restaurant where there was a great selection of dishes and staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be back soon. "

"While this is contactless lodging, we had everything we needed and a spacious room for three. The restaurant downstairs was excellent and convenient. Beautiful area too. "

"This property was well finished and very clean. It was close to local amenities. As it was on the Main Street it was very noisy at night even with the windows closed. We got used to it and were able to sleep by the second night. When I booked this property the advertisement stated 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There was only one bathroom. We had our two sons aged 21 and 18, and another bathroom would have made a difference. Overall we enjoyed our stay. "
