"If you paid to stay at this hotel, you have already paid too much. The only redeeming quality of this place is the staff, they were friendly and polite. As for the building, to call this hotel "dated" is an understatement as it is right out of the 1960s. The room was hot and the AC was not working properly. We opened the windows to cool off, but the area around the hotel was not great. It was noisy and smelled like diesel. The room had a lot of dust and the carpets were dirty. I would not...

"This was a great hotel.. one of the biggest rooms on our 4 week trip...but...it was advertised as a adults only...now in Australia that means no kids...but here Japan it means a LOVE HOTEL. It was a bit of a shock but it really didnt spoil our stay...we didnt see or hear anything remotely seedy and the staff were wonderful"

"Great location by the station. Easy to get around town. Plenty of food options all around. Service was good. Bath was lovely and spotlessly clean. Room was small and tight. Bed and pillows were hard as rocks. Very uncomfortable sleeping for us both. "

"Pillow is a bit hard. I think it could be changed if request. I stayed 2 nights and only pressed the "change towels button". The towel bag was hung on my door handle. They didn’t come inside to do cleanup (i.e. rubbish bag also not changed). I saw someone put towel bag inside "used towel" in the onsen area. It is not very hygiene if it places clean towel again."

"The hotel is very far from Okayama, 45 min trip on bus then 10 min walk. Not convenient to any of the sights. Very dated furnishings, the staff were very helpful and friedly"

"Central Hotel is a good basic hotel choice for Okayama. It’s clean, quiet with a friendly front desk staff who have good basic English and were very polite and helpful when asked. The location is about 15-20 minutes from the rail station and 6-8 minutes from a large shopping mall, grocery store, good food court with many options."
