"Everything is perfect! Staff is so awesome & Ryokan is well maintained. Only concerns are internet connection is bad & the constant phone call buzzing. Our check out is 10am but by 9:40am they’d started buzzing us."

Breakfast offered dishes and products from the regional area with titles in English as well as other languages. Many other services were available such as spa, massages and public baths. Hotel was within walking distance to two malls, one that offered foot baths. So much to do with so little time. "

"Everything about Nihon No Ashitaba was so incredibly beautiful, serene, and thoughtful. They offer a free shuttle everyday to Yufuin station where you can walk, shop, eat, and enjoy Yufuin. We were greeted promptly after riding the Yufuin No Mori from Hakata Station.They have multiple private onsens and a large open air hot spring you can reserve a time everyday if you wanted. Their breakfast and dinner is absolutely amazing and gives you a truly genuine Japanese food experience. The...

"Everything was poor. For Japanese standar I felt like staff was tired or not happy doing their job. Checking time was 4 P.M. while in other hotels was 3 P.M. I arrived at 3:10 and they did not let me in. A lady was going to give the key but a young man told her that was not the time for checking in. I saw other people registering before 4 and letting them in, so I felt disappointed. The room was very small."
