"I loved the look of the hotel, it was very artsy. The rooms and hallways were hand painted & signed by the artist. Theres a working fish export business downstairs & a seafood restaurant upstairs. It's got a lot going on but it still feels quiet. The fish boats something operate during the night, so it can get a little noisy and smelly but that's living & working in a fishing village. "First room that was given to me had no tv, no hair dryer and no safe box, plus the room was small. After 2 hours of waiting, I was transferred to another room which was bigger and had all the missing amenities. External noise is easily heard within the room especially if you have a noisy neighbour, like I did. The room rate was expensive considered the room. You can find better deals elsewhere."

"The hotel is clean and situated next to the Mall and Tesco, which is convenient. The room is big and the bed very comfortable. The down side is that the KTV Lounge downstairs play very loud music which can be heard all the way up the upper floors where I was. This is not the fault of the hotel itself, but the consequence of its location being at the periphery of Taiping town and residential areas."
