"Had a good stay at this hotel over Christmas. Room was spacious, staff service was excellent. Despite the breakfast room being very busy, the staff there always find time to chat with us and found us (party of 4) a nice table. A long walk to Armenian Street and the Esplanade. But with he heat, easier to catch a Grab as the fares are so low. Will recommend this hotel for a family holiday."

"The shower water could not be adjusted to warm/cold water, so we called the frontdesk and maintenance team helped us solved the issue in 15 mins. "

"Brilliant location close to Armenian Street, Chew Jetty, 2 shopping malls and Komtar. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Found it easy to get around by Grab and only around 30 minutes away from the airport."

"Lovely place to stay. Walking distance to most attractions. Grab is very inexpensive. Happy hour beer is the best prices anywhere in town. Only downside for me was the bed was hard but the shower was great. Staff were outstanding. "

"Stayed 3 days 2 nights for my Penang trip. Appreciate the early check-in and anniversary decoration arrangements. Overall, the room was clean and spacious. Probably can improve on the variety of dining options. "

"Please note: the area around the property is safe at night. However it is a commercial area, so no tourist sights, no history, nothing to see, nothing to do, limited public transportation. You can eat out like in other parts of Penang, so no worries that you'll be forced to take all meals in the hotel. But otherwise is very much a check-in and sleep kind of place."

"Friendly reception and they even gave us a sea view room upgrade. Breakfast has good food choices and roti bread was made to order. Building is a bit outdated but overall still clean. "

"This was an amazing hotel experience with the historical background of who originally built it. Room was huge. Amenities fine. Nice small pool. High end and casual dining options. Easy walking to historic streets of George Town. Music next door a bit loud one night but it stopped. "
