"Love staying here. We used to stay here before we permanently moved to the area. Lost power for a couple days and took advantage. My husband judges a hotel by its mattresses and he said about The Village Inn, this is the best sleep I've had in a hotel - ever! I hope the power is out again tonight. It is a charming hotel, with greats enclosed decks with adirondack chairs that face a creek. You feel like you are in nature in the middle of town. Highly recommend! "

"This was a stay "back in time". Most importantly, it was clean and quiet. Our grandparents had homes like our room and we are now grandparents, so it was awhile ago. So, it was very nostalgic for us, but we felt unsafe in the bathroom. The shower curtains were in the bottom of the tub and would have been easy to trip up on. There was only one outlet for us to re-charge our electronics on. The lighting was very poor. We somewhat enjoyed our stay because of the nostalgic factor, but really...

"Charming Inn set in a wooded private setting. Very peaceful and quiet. Convenient to Grandfather Mountain and dining and shopping in Blowing Rock. Would definitely stay again."

"It fit our needs. We weren’t there except to sleep. The sofa bed had dirty sheets on it when I opened it up☹️there were clean sheets there so I changed them. "

"The property was beautiful and well maintained. Our cabin was cozy and inviting. Our only comfort complaint was the pillows (very flat!) and mattress (a bit hard!). But the views were gorgeous, the horses and goats loved visitors and dinner at the Inn was a treat. Make sure to grab a cocktail at the on-site cocktail bar! We will surely visit again!"
