"The staff on reception were very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable bed. The breakfast was very good. Tram stop just outside hotel. The only downside was one lift was out of order so there was long waits for the Lift, especially on the morning of check out."

This is a hotel steeped in history, having been owned and operated by the same organisation for over 100 years, a book in each room describes the journey that the hotel has taken to get to today. "I stayed for one night with my son. it was a ten minute walk from the train station. we had a really lovely stay. the room was small but cosy. the bed was very comfortable. shower was lovely. breakfast was great with a large selection of hot and cold food. service was amazing. would definitely stay again and recommend it."

"A very good stay at the Thon Hotel Slottsparken. The main reason for selecting the hotel was the availability to accommodate 3 adults (adult daughter still loves free holidays!) and the 'Business' room option worked our perfectly with plenty of room for us all. Location wise it was very close to the palace in a nice quiet area whilst also being less than a 10 minute walk to the centre of Oslo and the Nationaltheatret train station which has a direct link to the airport.
