"Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. "

"Overall, we had a great trip. There was nothing that lessened the enjoyment we had together as a family. However, there were a few things that may be normal in a mountain log cabin, but perhaps could be upgraded. There were a lot of stairs into the house and guest house and only one bedroom on the main floor of main house so seniors had a harder time of it. Cleaning was hit and miss. Large cobwebs in places in the house, large soaking tubs in guest house were dirty. Some things did...

"We didn’t stay long but the stay was pleasant. We arrived late due to it being new years and a long drive and couldn’t find the room. The on call staff answered at 2:30 AM and was still pleasant. I can’t say enough positive about the staff at this place. We will definitely stay again if we come back to this area. "

"Hotel staff very nice. Coffee & Tea available 24/7. Breakfast was solid. Location is just off I-40, but the hotel is not particularly convenient to the happenings of downtown Asheville. Room was clean & eco-friendly. Neither of the 2 beds in my room was particularly comfortable. Hotel is set up well to charge various devices. All in all, pretty good. Just wish the beds were more comfortable."
