"Was an incredible stay. We were the only guests as it was the off season and we felt so looked after. There was a lovely man working the mornings (didn’t catch his name but he was absolutely beautiful) who did everything he could to make us feel welcomed and comfortable! Great location for daytrips along the coast, good amenities and amazing food! We’ll definitely be staying again"

"No official check in .. appreciate it was a bank hol & probably skeleton staff. Room was absolutely freezing upon arrival .. not what we wanted after a 7 hr drive. Pleasant staff, comfy bed, everything clean, good menu & bar choice & service, good food. "

"What a sweet spot to stay - run by a family who lives in-house downstairs & provides immediate service when you need it. Lovely drawing & dining rooms, bar for whisky tastings & breakfast area with homecooked (and included) breakfasts. Amenities were great, rooms large & cost."

"Hotel was fine. Hotels.com were awful, stating breakfast was included when I booked, when the hotel didn’t do breakfast. When I tried to complain, they disabled my typing."

"Reception welcome was great. Evening meal was absolutely delicious (seared monk fish medallions and garlic butter). Room was clean a organised, hot drink facility, full range of clean needing and towels. Easy check out and free parking. Staff were efficient and welcoming. One smallish moan, the shower temperature was intermittent, cool then hot then cool again continually. Took a bit of adjusting to get an acceptable hot AND cool. Great location for business reasons. I will book again."
