"Easily the best place I stayed in whilst in Japan. It’s a ryokan and yet it has full 5 star hotel features. I chose a room with a private outdoor Onsen bath and kaiseki dinner option. Room was huge (75sq/m) with a separate bedroom, living room and sitting area with a wood burner. I started the fire and sat there for hours in between my private lovely hot onsen. "Really good experience except for the breakfast line up. The eating area is really small so the line up for breakfast was too long. We ended up going to a convenience store for breakfast. "

"Hotel is good and comfy with all the basic needs that you need. It even has a complimentary breakfast. Staff very accomodating and if you arrive early which we did you have to wait for the check in time, they wont let you check in early. This hotel is good for short stay. "

"Very very dated hotel. Hotel was a distance away from the train station so it was inconvenient to get to the hotel with luggage and then head back to the train station for meals and head back again. There was a musky smell in the room and the countertops were dusty. We borrowed a fan from the laundry room to use in the room just to circulate the air as the aircon is not working well (in addition to the smell). Washing machine was dirty and didn’t look like it has been maintained. It was raining...

"A standard business hotel located about 500m South of Toyama Station in the drinking district. In Japan, drinking districts are perfectly safe. No street noise could be heard from my room. Room was standard size for the hotel type. Breakfast is free and filling."
