"This is an old building so yes, there will be creaky floors and ‘ambiance’ that some may not appreciate. We found the front desk staff to be very friendly and helpful. The view from our room (552) was out over the street towards Lake Lucerne. We had 3 windows, 2 of which were French doors opening into balconies. Easy walk to bakeries, local cheese shop, grocery, and many ‘best of Lucerne’ sites. Bus to the main train station was super easy. "

Room was a little tight for an extended stay. Very little room on sude of Queen Bed. The "Queen" bed was two beds put together but it worked with one fitted sheet tieing the beds together. Suggestions... Directions on heating use - also note somwhere that AC turned off for "winter" Lastly...more counter space in the bathroom"
