"A lovely hotel, nice big room with comfy bed. This is definitely not a dog friendly hotel, we had hoped to have a drink in the bar after the stressful weekend we'd had but no. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant which I fully understand but they are not allowed in any area in the bar. So basically you walk through reception and go straight to the room with your dog. This is not dog friendly at all and you even have to pay £15 a night for this. Honestly if you have a dog don't bother going...

"I like the style and design of hotel, safe parking( its a shame that you have to pay) decor in bedroom 10 .needs attention to walls and ceiling, stains on carpet, loose toilet seat and stains on seat catches to toilet pan, ill fitting windows and drafty. But excellent heating warm. Reception ok. on check-in not very welcoming lack of conversation. I chose this hotel as my Daughter had stayed here."

"Lots of on-site parking, easy walk into town, its bed only no breakfast but that was fine for us, oddly there was no one on site, access to the property was by emailed code which was tapped into the front door access panel, but that was OK for us, same with the rooms. The only staff member I saw and spoke to was the cleaner. "

Had everything we needed - kettle, Nespresso machine, hairdryer, iron etc.. 4 USB sockets around the bed for charging of devices. They are low key with their housemaid service which suited us, but if you ask for it, they provide. Good bed. Shower was strong and did put water a bit over onto the bathroom floor. Just needed a bit of moving of the shower head and of the bath mat to resolve. Stairs were a struggle with the...
