"Arrived Saturday afternoon for the usual two night stay. Receptionist welcoming, friendly and quick to book are party in Spotless, with all the necessary amenities needed. The only problem was the meal in the restaurant that evening was well below standard, food was just warm and the fish approx 25%fish 75 oily batter. Highly recommend this hotel. Will be staying several times in future. A great break.😁👍 "

"Good stay overall. Cooked breakfast was good. Marmalade dispenser was empty and breakfast had just started. Attention to detail, checking prior to opening for breakfast would have been good. Bed was comfortable enough for a reasonable good sleep. "

"Room looks amazing, cleanliness is fair. Cleaner do a great job, walls could just do will a touchup of paint. Heating didn't work at through our stay, however there was an electric heater. But to use this would come them a fortune. Service in the bar was friendly and service amazing. Food was fantastic, they also had a great selection of beers for those who like that sort of thing. Overall stay was great, just need to sort out the small maintenance issues. This is a honest assessment, hope it...

"Nice hotel set in lovely countryside, very friendly staff. Evening meal was good, although it was a very quiet period which led to no deserts being available which was a bit of a let down. All that being said we had a pleasant stay."

"Food was excellent. Room was very comfortable. My usual bugbear is staffing and service but at this hotel I'd say 100 percent is selling them short . Could not ask for better service particularly in the savvy fox restaurant. Will definitely be staying here again. Only downside was we were only staying 1 night. Well done. "

"We stayed over attending a wedding . The room was comfortable snd clean . The staff twere pleasant thoughtful and nothing was too much trouble . The food was excellent , although it was a wedding breakfast. The only grouse was the tea bags . We are Pg tips and it was Tetleys , so bring your own if you like a good brew .."
