"The room was good wi-fi excellent air conditioning excellent room cleaning excellent unfortunately the area is not good for walking the footpaths are full of electric scooters bip bip all the time just push there way through you cannot go for a peaceful walk in this area plenty of good family restaurants good food good price pity about this area so busy with scooters and trolleys full of bundles of clothes being delivered every where all day everyday day if I go back to Gaungzhou I will not stay...

"I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. It is listed as a 'Guest House' but it is more like a 5 Star Hotel. It was a very late check-in but the staff were brilliant and most accommodating in getting my room arranged, even bringing up a small fruit platter to settle me in. The choices for breakfast were excellent and, again, the staff very polite and helpful. A shot walk away was the city centre with shops, restaurants, etc. I would certainly stay here again when visiting Guangzhou."

"The rooms were clean and modern like their picture. The breakfast was a mix of continental and Chinese. It was great. Their English was good. They offerend buses to and from the Canton Fair every morning. I will definitely return next time."

"It is 1930s historical magistic building. It keeps its magnificant period look and inside fitted with adequte modern furnishing, air conditioning and clean bedding and room. For $60 a night, that is a steal. I was originally expecting $120-to 14o a night. Good value. Highly recommended."

"the staff were sweet and helpful and i dont speak chinese. it made me feel at home where i can be safe. i lost my key card and they replaced it without any hassle or fee. the cleaning lady was the sweetest ensuring i had new water every day. its very close to the convention centre and the value is amazing. i hope i can come back again to royal star apartments. 🍀🙏🍀"
