However, I don’t appreciate having someone knock on my door at 0800hrs and find it’s housekeeping , because they are busy and want to clean my room. I did decline and Told them to leave my room, just empty my bin. I went for a 0900hrs breakfast and they must have been short of staff as there was no bread, coffee machine was empty and no cutlery readily available. "We had a wonderful stay at Moxy from start to finish. It started with a lovely welcome from a professional and friendly team member. They even gave us a welcome cocktail which was a lovely touch. The rooms are clean, modern and very comfortable. Breakfast was ok, not bad but the bacon was overdone. The real bonus of this hotel is the reception and bar. It is a really lovely space that I'd happily spend all day in. There was also a small gym which was basic but nicely equipped and clean....

"Stunning building, room was great and comfortable, I didn't have a bathroom in my room but the one I used was for my bedroom and another one exclusively, which was really convenient. It was quiet, the bed was comfy, there is a couple of dinning options which are great. A plus for the cinema as well. I would have stay longer."

"I've stayed there twice now on each visit to Plymouth. The rooms have been refreshed, clean and the area is generally fairly quiet. The location means you can walk to the Hoe, Barbican readily, and the Drake Circus is 5 minutes away. If I return to Plymouth, I'd readily come back!! And the staff are great :) "
