"If you like things a bit unusual and quirky, this place will suit you! Completely fine for one or two nights, right next to grand place so very good location. We were there in November, so it was cold in communal areas but room was fine. "I know that other reviews have said the hotel is dated and old fashioned and it is but it’s not a negative for me. We had a great stay there, breakfast was fine and we were right by a metro stop. Staff all pleasant and helpful. The room was very warm and spacious. The shower was very good.The only negative really is the noise but it didn’t worry us. It’s not really anything the Hotel can change either - the constant sirens and traffic noise when you are situated by a busy road in a large city...

It's about a 30-45 minute walk to the city centre but there are food options in the neighborhood. It's right by the De Koninck brewery, if you are into beer. This place exceeded my expectations."

Area noisy overnight load voices regularly going by even in January, although not unusal for city centre hotel. Somewhat underwhelmed by 2 free drinks as VIP guest which equalled 2 bottles of water -useful! Plenty of nearby restaurants & cafes. "
