It’s about a 15 minute walk from the train station on a level street, with some really nice shops along the way and a variety of restaurants nearby. The accommodations were modern and very clean. The views are stunning and the weather and temperature very comfortable however higher elevation = greater UV and greater chances of sunburn. The Aves Arosa home base is ver clean and walkable from the train station and bus station. Note that the bus is actually a van and therefore limited in passenger and luggage capacity. Things to note: Checking was easy at a self checkin machine we only saw one member of staff at breakfast. This was not a problem for us.
