"What an amazing property. This little island (about 1 acre in size) is absolutely beautiful. The boat ride from Placencia was definitely farther than a 10 minutes....more like a 40-45 minute trip as the island is approx 20 miles in the middle of the ocean. The staff is one of a kind..... "STAY HERE! The best experience I’ve had at any resort ever. The staff is lovely, the food is fantastic, and the island itself is right out of your wildest dream. At night, there are noises akin to what you’d hear on a ship, or deep in the woods—which may be relaxing to some and annoying go others. Also, the hot water can be an otter finicky. But trust me, you will not care! This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I wouldn’t miss for anything! No other vacation has compared. "
