"Stayed for one night because my husband had a business meeting in Pirna. March is clearly off season - a great time to enjoy the gorgeous view of the Elbe River in peace and quiet. Our room was spacious and clean, with that gorgeous view and a huge balcony. The bathroom had enough room to keep our toiletries in there. "Nice hotel approx. 5 miles from the centre in a quiet area between 2 main roads. Seemed to be mainly German couples/families - some with dogs. Very quite with friendly staff. Rooms clean and spacious with on-suite, TV etc. Restaurant on-site which I never used but was busy. All in all nice stay."

"Fairly decent hotel, been around a while I think but decent standard, fairly `traditional (lots of dark wood) but a friendly and easy check-in, private parking around back of hotel, spacious room, bit basic but quite functional and decent wifi. I ate in the hotel and had a decent priced tasty meal with good service. Fine for a one night stay. "

"Good size room and spacious bathroom for 2 for a 7 nights stay. Room was cleaned every day. Wifi was not accessible in the beginning but was sorted later and connection was stable. No fridge. Comfortable stay with good transport connections. The area is residential and with quiet and considerate neighbourhood. The leafy park opposite the hotel adds tranquility and calmness. We did not have breakfast."

"The hotel located in very quiet area. It’s a free parking and it’s important for traveling by car. The breakfast was excellent. I recommend this hotel if you don’t need to stay in the center of the city."

"Das Hotel ist am Rande der Altstadt gelegen. Fußläufig ist daher in Pirna alles gut erreichbar. Ein Tiefgaragenplatz kann separat gebucht werden. Wir würden dies empfehlen. Das Frühstück war gut. Toll gefallen hat uns, dass es während des Aufenthalts eine kostenlose Karte für den ÖPNV mit dazu gab. Daher haben wir das Auto stehen gelassen und sind mit Bus und Bahn zum Wandern gefahren. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt gut gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder in die Pension Donatus."
