"We had a great stay. Building could use some brightening but staff were wonderful and we understand it’s an old building. Love the spa and the location is key. We will definitely be back. "

"Nice location , local free shuttle most appreciated, valet parking was easy and all the staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast is exceptional and well worth $18 . Snacks in the little shop were kind of pricey but that’s typical at any hotel . The bed is firm which is not to my comfort . I prefer a more plush and softer mattress but that’s just my preference . Would definitely stay again but if for multiple nights the firm bed might b a deal breaker . But it’s still 5* in my book . "

"It's a nice place, but parking was ridiculous, $30 a night makes no sense for Portland! Its across the street and very dimly lit. I did not feel safe with all the homeless people wandering around. The room was small, but clean. Going down to the pool at night with kids, you have to go by the bar and all the men stare, it was uncomfortable, not to mention very loud!"

"I was disappointed that there was no microwave in the room. I can go simewychesper and get a microwave. It was not up to the quality of a nice motel. It was a “wanna be”. No complimentary breakfast."

"Only offered "bold" coffee for breakfast...where's the decaf? Plans changed and couldn't change my reservation because of booking with Expedia ;( Loss of money will make me rethink booking through Expedia"

Great location, bathroom needs to be enclosed.

"This hotel is in a great location. You never have to drive/call a ride share if you are staying downtown. My only complaint is there is no door to the bathroom. The shower is out in the open right as you walk into the room. If you like a little privacy in that area this might not be the hotel for you. "
