"Cool architecture: had a pseudo modern castle feel. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Free snacks, flavoured water, tea and coffee. Location was a bit less convenient to town. "

"We loved this hotel. It was in a beautiful location over looking the lake. Very clean and super cute room. Right beside the bus stop so walking our luggage to the hotel wasn’t an issue. Lots of restaurants and cafes right by which had amazing food !"

"Very close to the lake water busses and boats in general. Not too fancy but great view and WAY cheaper than the Grand Hotel and a 2 minute walk. "

"I booked this last minute based on the reviews. I agree the hotel room is surprising nice, clean and spacious. It had everything we needed for our stay. When we arrived, the outside lights were not working and it was dark so it seemed a little sketchy since it was my first time seeing the place. The staff was super friendly and explained why it was so dark outside. Once inside the room, I was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast was really good too. I would stay here again. "

"Unfortunately we arrived in the dark during a thunderstorm, and parking was not easy. It's a very steep driveway leading to two different parking lots with virtually no space to turn around. All that said, the room was comfy despite some harsh pin lights in the floor shining upwards that we placed shoes over to "dial down", the check-in staff was friendly, and the views from the pool area were beautiful. Hopefully I can return when it's not raining and use the pool."

"Close to the cathedral and the lake this is a wonderful spot for easy access to Como. I would have given all 5 stars but 2 more pillows and access to an additional blanket in the room would have been ideal. The temperature in the room was a bit cool for our liking given the recent dip in temperature on our end be night stay. "

"Breakfast buffet was ok, eggs were always luke warm at best. The bed was okay, pillow’s were not good. Woke up each morning with a crick in my neck. Public transportation was excellent and the hotel will give you a pass for the day if you want. "

"Basic room in a great location for visiting Como. Walking distance to train station, ferry building and the lake. Very nice grocery store just a short walk."
