"Hotel is in great location facing the portal into citadel which encloses old town. Its a lengthy walk down to the city sized newer town and the beach beyond. However the citadel is much the nicest area to stay, unless you want the beach. The hotel is clean and comfortable although showing signs of age. The bar is very nice in the evening. Good breakfast choice although nothing hot. Good sized parking bays in garage although spaces are limited."

"It's a good hotel to stop off prior to taking the Eurotunnel or after. It's 10 minute drive to the entrance of the Eurotunnel centre. The staff is very nice. Very friendly. The place is child-friendly. It's accessible. It's quiet."

Would have been better if we had known that we needed to book in advance off street parking. Needs a little work done lie the wardrobe door was not opening and was off the rails. "The staff is not hospitable or accommodating. A bit snotty. The hotel is full of police who are working on the coast. They have taken over the hotel with their meetings and dinners and drinking at night. Not pleasant. Will not recommend."
