"The hotel is right in the middle of a resort with a zoo, casino, indoor ski slope and skating, Roman pool, spa and many other things besides including many restaurants and nearby within a few minutes drive there are supermarkets and shopping centres. The hotel had a nice pool so the kids were happy and it was very clean and it is also close to the lovely city of Thionville for cafe's, castle in town, eat by the river, lovely shopping and Metz where we went to the Centre Pompidou art gallery and...

"Great hotel on the ground floor, full of motor racing items and memorabilia. Upstairs the corridors are dark and the rooms are basic, with the racing theme carrying on throughout. Quirky and adequate. "

"An old hotel, definitely had character. Toilet played up a couple of times but quickly fixed. Air con/heating damned noisy. We were placed 3 floors up which with suitcases was hard going on windy staircases. Good breakfast quite plentiful. Didn't eat their otherwise as couscous not our thing. Great positioning for exploration. If you like fresh air in your room it's wise to wait until it quietens as can be noisy. On the whole enjoyed 4 day's here and would stay again. Used the theatre...

"Smoking by the entrance to the hotel is very unnerving for single traveller arriving at night. "

"Extremely disappointing. The hotel does not bear any similarity to the photos on site, in desperate need of a refurbishment. Room smelt of wet dog. Restaurant service was poor, kitchen ran out of food although we arrived 80 minutes before close of service, offered carrot salad and a pizza to share between two."

"The hotel is in an excellent position within the town. The staff were very pleasant. The only downside was that the radiators in the bedroom and bathroom both needed bleeding but by the time we discovered this the reception was closed (18.00). The bed was a little hard for our liking."

"Had my card all ready for me, quick check-in. Room was a good size, including a table and two chairs. Ground floor as I asked. Kitchenette has what you need and a real coffeeaker with reusable filter."
