"There was everything I needed and more, but so much needed repairing or maintaining. I was particularly unhappy about the reluctance to observe standard fire precautions at night evidenced by the wedging open of fire and smoke stop doors. This was noted at 23:00 hrs. Very pleased to find breakfast was included, and that ironing facilities were available without request. "

"Room is massive. We walked in thinking it was going to be a small room but it’s really big, very spacious. The bed is unbelievably comfy. Recommend the stay as it’s a one minute walk from town centre. Service is very good and people there are lovely. "

"Our room had no cold water, we changed rooms but after showers the water pressure was very low again. The tv channels were very poor.only one of the bedside lights worked, the desk light didn’t work."

"I have stayed at The Fleece mutiple times over the years. It is exactly what a non UK resident would expect. A charming, beamed, English Pub with a pretty good restaurant but with the added benefit of being able to walk into town. There are rooms in the pub above the bar/restaurant and rooms located in a converted barn located in the courtyard. The rooms are spacious and equipped with the basics.
