"We arrived at hotel and automatically could see the valet was pretty busy so we decided to park ourselves. We spoke with one of the valet workers and they helped us with the cart for our luggage and even help take to our room on the 7th floor. The room and bathroom was so neat and clean. Downstairs had everything you needed from bar, to the restaurant even the convenience of the store for snacks. Much needed 2 day getaway. Thanks Marriot Downtown Chattanooga. "The stay was ok. We do not plan on staying here again, though. The check-in manager was very helpful and polite. They did not have the room we requested ready, so we accepted a different room in order to make the plans we had already set up for Monday night. When walking to our room, the halls reaked of marijuana, especially by the staff lounge and laundry room. When getting a towel to dry my hands after washing them, I noticed all the towels reaked of marijuana, too. We had to get air freshner...

"This Holiday Inn Express property was new, clean, and simply but effectively appointed with even a TV lounge and a lobby large enough to just sit and socialize. Our room was spacious and included comfortable beds and pillows as well as a large TV and walk-in shower. We especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere. Finally, the morning breakfast offered a wide variety of items from cheese omelets to biscuits and gravy with a seating area as big as many restaurants. Great night sleep and good...
