"Lovely young Lady named Capucine looked after us. Nice room and free parking in an industrial area of St.Lo. No WIFI and few local restaurants within walking distance. Ok for a late and reasonably priced stop over."

"Spacious hotel room for France. Very pretty and close to the shops and sights. A few minutes from the Bayeux train station if heading to Paris or vice versa for a portion of your trip. The free included breakfast was phenomenal. Really a fun stay."

"The hotel itself is value for money. Finding the kettle and coffee maker in the room was a plus. The outside space is a lovely sun trap in the evening. We stayed in early June and the area was generally quiet. The hotel was hosting a school trip, which not an issue for us. We were only there for 2 nights, Mon/Tues, which did mean having to drive the 2 miles to Arramanche to find somewhere to eat, as none of the local venues were open on those evenings. I presume this changes once the season...

"Outdoor pool is heated. Property is right next to ocean and easy to walk to local restaurants. Note that you should make reservations in advance for the local restaurants as they are small and can be full."

"Many local folks and tourists seem to come to this hotel for dinner. I recommend it for dinner too, excellent food. The location is right on the beach. The only inconvenience is access to certain rooms, which has to be through the restaurant, which is really weird, especially when I had to take my dog out and had to squeeze between the tables. Recommended otherwise. "

"Very convenient and comfortable little hotel where you can park the car (if you reserve a spot) and go explore the D Day museum and harbor. The staff was super welcoming! Breakfast onsite is convenient. The rooms had different configurations for our group, 3 single beds for me and the kids, and a double bed for my parents. Perfect!"

"Hotel rooms were comfortable, the window shutters are great. The restaurant serves a regional menu, including regional beers. The breakfast was the standard bread, pastries, cereal, fruits and cheese. The location was easy to find, and a great spot to stay if planning on visiting the town. The town is close enough to walk if you want alternative options for food."

"The staff were very helpful. I had a problem with the battery on my electric bike and could not remove it to charge it in my room. The lady on reception allowed me to charge the bike on the ground floor ensuring that I had a full vharge for the following day's cycling. Restaurant was very good."

"An old French chateau. Beautiful room. Beautiful property. Very nice. The shower was a bit awkward. The tub is high, and the position of the shower head is weird. Other than that minor issue, the place was great. "

"From Lobby to room, everything was fresh and in great shape. We had a port side room with a balcony, overlooking the fishing boats, was great to sit out and watch them work. The buffet breakfast in the morning was great, convenient and reasonably priced. We were a short walk from the restaurants in town (10 min), and the pier. A short drive from Bayeaux (20 min) for our Normandy tour"
