The staff were always friendly and helpful, and even called before we arrived to let us know our room was upgraded due to discrepancies between the booking site I used and the rooms available. "Beautiful resort, nature setting and nice and very spacious cabin for 6. Near to Blowing Rock town and supermarket. Shopping outlets are just 5 minutes away. All nature and attractions are a Short drive from there. "

"Just the perfect getaway. The staff was exceptional. Our dinner at the restaurant was delicious and service was above expectations. The only reason I gave the grounds a 4 was it was only 5 weeks after the hurricane and they were doing some remodeling but I lay no blame on the resort. The road to the resort was under repair but they are doing a great job of cleaning up and getting back to business. I highly recommend. "

"This was a stay "back in time". Most importantly, it was clean and quiet. Our grandparents had homes like our room and we are now grandparents, so it was awhile ago. So, it was very nostalgic for us, but we felt unsafe in the bathroom. The shower curtains were in the bottom of the tub and would have been easy to trip up on. There was only one outlet for us to re-charge our electronics on. The lighting was very poor. We somewhat enjoyed our stay because of the nostalgic factor, but really...

"This condo had all the comforts of home. The kitchen was well equipped and each room had a tv. The balcony was nice and long and has a nice view of the mountain. This place was IMPECCABLY clean! We saw deer on the property each day and there was sporting equipment readily available at the office (tennis, shuffleboard etc) very very nice The indoor pool, hot tub and game room were nice too "
