"We stayed here 3 nights with our 3 month old. From the moment we arrived the staff were very cheerful and accommodating. "Hotel was pretty cool with a nice restaurant attached. However the heat didn’t turn on until later in the evening. The first night a window in the bathroom below us was banging in the wind all night long. It was terrible. Security never saw it but we were given a $30 voucher for food because we didn’t sleep the whole night. The second night there was a party in the even room downstairs right below us. "We stayed in the cabin in the back which was…. Absolutely adorable and as pictured. I would highly recommend to communicate with the host ahead of time, because while the contact phone number is listed at multiple points on the property, it can be difficult for a traveler without phone service. I was traveling from another country and had data only, I was fortunate to have a local person lend me their phone so I could check in that first evening. That is my only advice for anyone wanting to stay...

"Although I didn't ultimately stay at Hazelbrook, I would like to commend the manager, Graham, for his professionalism & resilience, in twice finding alternative accommodation when it proved not to be possible for me to stay there, then understanding when my own plans changed at the last moment. This was a most impressive example of excellent customer service in challenging circumstances."

"we stayed twice, once on day of arrival in Ireland and once on day of leaving. The only problem was that we arrived late at night and it was very difficult to find in the dark as there was no sign visible from the main road. We had to rely on someone from the garage next door to direct us. On our second visit we found it easily of course. Some sort of lighting by the entrance at night would be helpful. "

Great spot to explore Waterford

"We stayed here 3 nights with our 3 month old. From the moment we arrived the staff were very cheerful and accommodating. The staff set us up a table away from everyone with our baby where there was plenty of space for the pushchair, definite bonus. The family room was spacious, the beds comfy and the water in the shower hot. I've seen a few reviews who said it was cold - if that was the case I'd say they have resolved that, we had to turn our radiator down. It was great that we could alter the temperature and even open a window. The only let down was that they did not have fridges available for the rooms and my daughter's milk. However they did provide ice buckets and allow us to store things in their fridge downstairs. We ate dinner and lunch in the bar, the food was tasty and generous in size. Our only suggestion would be to stock 0.0 Guinness. Overall a great stay - particularly for a 3*. We would definitely stay again. "

Brilliant stay at Farmer's Kitchen Hotel

"I had an excellent stay at Farmer's Kitchen Hotel. Everything from the initial reservation, checking in and parking were perfect. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable with a great bathroom too. I went into Wexford on the bus in search of Guinness and had a lovely time. Then back to the hotel for a super meal and a final Guinness. The room was lovely and warm when I arrived which was great too. Super comfortable bed, I had a good sleep. I had to get away sharpish in the morning and the lovely lady on reception suggested I pre order breakfast which would be ready for 7am. I travel for work very regularly all over Europe and can honestly say this has been one of my best hotels stays. Thank you to all who made my stay so nice, I will be back. "
