"Building was pretty, room was more spacious than I anticipated. Checking in was a little strange as there didn't seem to be a conventional front office area. My room was in a separate building around a five minute drive away which was odd as well. Room was clean for the most part."

"This is one of the best VRBO properties I’ve visited. The property owners have outfitted the rental with everything needed in a pinch! She has the fridge stocked with waters and small milk cartons. She has a pantry/coffee nook with coffee pods, creamer, sugars, cereals and instant oatmeals. I have never used a VRBO property that was so handsomely outfitted for the guests. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to visit the Fairbanks area. "

We showed up to check in at 3:45 & was prompting told it was not ready and to come back - absolutely NO apology. We drove 12 hours btw to get there and we’re exhausted. "Had to find another place to stay at 11pm because we arrived on a late flight (5 hours after check in time) and the apt. was still in the middle of being cleaned (beds unmade, laundry in the washer and on the floor, cleaning supplies in the bathroom, all the cabinets open, ect). There was no one there. It was like they just walked out in the middle. No response from the owner for almost 24 hours. We were given a refund. Not the best start to our vacation."
