"The George is a lovely old building but needed a bit of tlc in places. The room was comfortable and in a quiet position with parking right outside the room. The setting of the hotel is beautiful- next to the river in a lovely little village but there are no other amenities nearby. The food was nice enough although my gammon was overcooked and a little dry. The breakfast was plentiful and there was lots of choice. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"Superb views over to Richmond Castle from the large garden. Dog friendly in all areas. Lovely breakfast. Walkable into Richmond town in about 15 mins although he Inn sits on the blind corner of a quite fast road so care needs to be taken."
