"A very nice hotel with lovely staff. A 7min walk to the promenade & beach so not too far for a swim. There are pleasant coastal path and inland walks and the nearby Roses fortress remains are worth a walk around. The breakfast was very good. "

"The hotel is in a perfect location and it is worth paying a little extra for a room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Unfortunately the paintwork was in very poor state and the room needed a makeover as it looked tired. My king size bed was actually two singles pushed together so there was an uncomfortable ridge down the centre. The bar and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. "Friendly welcome and nice rooms with comfy bed and fabulous shower. The outside space is a bonus and much appreciated by our dog. The evening meal menu is very limited and there are no vegetarian options which is a shame. "

The major downside was the 'spa' facilities and the communication from the very rude staff members. The sauna and gym were closed due to Covid-19, this is understandable but there was no mention of this online, and I tried calling beforehand to ask but no one answered. Then the 'hot tub' was in fact freezing cold, and all the staff could say was "That's how it's always been, it's never been...
