"We have just returned following a lovely long weekend in Nerja. 5 ladies travelled for a girls mini break. We had 2 bedrooms in Hotel Toboso Chaparil. A double and a triple room although the double also had 3 beds. The hotel is in a excellent location. Only a short stroll to beach and main town square/area. The main town is all pedestrianized so no cars. Cars are allowed on road outside hotel but you wouldnt even know as it was so quiet at night even with one of our rooms at street level. The...

"We needed a quiet and calm week's holiday. The area was recommended to us and we found the hotel coincidentally. It was not peak season I gathered, which was a bonus as not many people around. I loved the terrace and reading room. if we go that area ever again, I will book the same hotel. "

"Really good value for money room was good size with a nice balcony looking over gardens to the sea. Very clean, nice linen ,good walk in shower , fridge and safe. Breakfast was included, and was better than expected, buffet style with good selection of hot and cold choices , plenty to eat. Pool was closed as we were there in October although it was pretty hot and we saw no sign of the bar/snack bar but there was plenty in the town so no matter. "Horrible motorcycle noises with parking lot outside window. No toaster. Awkward check-in done via automation and no easy to use. Prefer in person check-in. Little shelving in bathroom for personal items and towels Too few clothes hangars. Not exactly spotless. Dust and dirt. Very small table for eating. Really could not use at all. Microwave was confusing to use and no instructions for grill option. Great that safe was included! Convenient location. Iron & ironing board included."

"Location and view was good. Room had a kettle and cups yet no coffee or tea, Had to complain and finally was offered some packs. Tennis court was always occupied by non residents and couldn't play. Breakfast; had to request table to be cleaned several times, out of foods f9r some time. Very disorganized plenty of staff"

"Absolutely lovely stay, very comfortable room and bed, lovely private terrace, this is a rustic guesthouse with lovely elements, little courtyard, breakfast room, great self check in, plunge pool was sadly empty as we would have loved a dip as it was hot but I assume it's out of season. All in all a very chilled and comfortable stay "

"It was a great stay, the staff were very friendly, the pool and gardens were attractive and well kept. Playa del Maro beach is a hidden gem and about half hours walk, and the caves are 200m away from the hotel, both a must visit. I felt very chilled out staying there. Big thank you to the staff. "
