"We (Elderly parents + adult daughter) stayed at La Loma for 2 weeks in Sep 2024. Overall it was an enjoyable stay and we had a good time with fantastic weather. Good Points: 1. An attractive villa in a great setting; Stunning views and good walks (mostly on the roads). 2. Good hot water. 3. Traffic on the mountain roads always drove slowly (circa 30 KPH) and were always very friendly. 4. Good walking on the local roads and tracks. Less Good Points 1. NO WiFi !! 2. Swimming Pool looks bigger in the photos that it actually is. In addition NOT child friendly as no shallow end and min depth is approx 1.5m. Also very visable to surrounding area due to its height. 3. No Villa File - General Instructions, Emergency contacts, Supermarkets, Areas of Interest, local recommended restaurants, etc. Check in consisted only of unlocking the doors and photographing passports! No advice on rubbish disposal or recycling rules/requirements. No written Instructions on how to get to the villa; Only a google map 'Pin Drop' Whats App Message. Fortunately our daughter (and now I can) was able to sort this! 4. Furnishings limited - no bedroom chairs; one bedroom with 2 x double beds had no furniture at all apart from the beds; bedsite lights very low powered. Fans noisey. Cutlery limited; No coffee or Tea pots. 5, External/Pool furniture very limited for a villa supposedly accomodating 9 people (in reality 7) and loungers very uncomfortable. "We loved staying at Manuel and Noemi’s beautiful Villa. It has fantastic facilities and a stunning pool which we loved. We found many lovely restaurants in Vinuela and Alcaucin. We also visited many other white washed villages and made the trips to Granada and Ronda. Comfortable beds and super showers, we will be back soon."

"Amazing house, pool and multiple areas to sit and relax and enjoy the incredible views. The house had everything you needed to make it feel like home and the gas barbecue was a bonus. The location manager was very friendly, polite and efficient. Can't really find anything negative to say and it is certainly on our list of places we would go back to. "This place is precious! It’s a very small village, you will need a car to go to main attractions and touristic areas but it’s a lovely place to get back to every night. Marisol and Cristina are angels! Super lovely and helpful. Room is large and beautiful. Would love to get back and just enjoy the hotel for days. "

"Stayed here 20 years ago but the hotel is so much better now. Fantastic pool and sunbathing area with quality beds, shades and views. Food was also excellent and can highly recommend a Junior Suite with a fantastic bed, bathroom, lounge and balcony. The location is out of town, but centred nicely for the main tourist attractions and only 20 mins from the lovely beach front at Torre Del Mar. Not sure what more I can say but if you are looking for a relaxing quality hotel in a beautiful quiet setting, I can’t see you finding one better in Andalusia. "

"The property had everything that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Most importantly good air conditioning in the rooms which kept us all cool in 42 degrees heat. The pool isn't the largest but is more than enough to have fun in with children. The area whilst remote had enough shops near by to keep you happy. With a 20 min drive to the bigger stores."

"We had two weeks of rest and relaxation in this wonderful villa. Our second visit and the changes made by the new owners have made the experience more enjoyable (electric barbecue is excellent and overcomes local fire restrictions). We will never tire of the peace and tranquility plus wonderful views across the mountains to the sea."
