"The location is in the El Centro area with plenty of cafes and restaurants. The property is older and in need of updates. It has a classic look and must have been really stylish in its prime. Lots of dark wood in the lobby area. The elevators are really dated, but functional. I stayed at this hotel mainly because the Posada I live at, did not have internet or TV do to a supposed outage. Staff was great and polite. "

The picture of the exterior of the hotel is where the busses are parked and pick up passengers. You can hear bus noises and hallway noise. "I arrived two hours before check-in and was assured to have two single rooms facing the front. By the time I checked in just before 3pm they second front facing room was given away to someone else. My friend and I were then separated onto two floors with only one front facing room. No apology was given as a result. "

"For the price this is a very good option to be in the center of Xalapa. Our room was small but we only needed to crash for a night. The coffee in the room was excellent the shower was very good and walking out there were many excellent options for breakfast."
