The location is in the El Centro area with plenty of cafes and restaurants. The property is older and in need of updates. It has a classic look and must have been really stylish in its prime. Lots of dark wood in the lobby area. The elevators are really dated, but functional. I stayed at this hotel mainly because the Posada I live at, did not have internet or TV do to a supposed outage. Staff was great and polite.

The rooms are very small and they smell like feet. We complained but they did not offer to give us a different room. We went out to buy some deodorizing spray. Our 3 night stay turned into 1 no refund was given. They said we have a credit for 2 night when we decide to return. I will never stay there again.

Good place to stay,great location
Place is comfortable and the location is great if you’re looking to know downtown Xalapa… it is actually secure since there’s a cop in every corner. I went to a couple of places around to eat and they were actually pretty good.
