"Very spacious and nicely decorated room with lovely cottage gardens. Very comfortable bed and great radiator heating in the bedroom and bathroom. Given the historical nature of the building it is in very good condition. The only issue I found was the lack of sound insulation between the rooms but appreciate it be hard to fix this however getting woken in the middle of the night with guests next door talking wasn’t great. I however know which rooms to book in future to avoid this issue....

"A beautiful location with accommodation finished to a very high standard. Our one bedroom suite has a fully equipped kitchen, including fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, microwave and oven. Bed was huge and very comfortable, bathroom had twin basins, a shower and bath with plenty of piping hot water. Staff are attentive and very helpful, and happy to assist in any way. "Jennifer met us on arrival after a hasty booking on our behalf. Extremely friendly & helpful. A lovely home with grounds to roam. Good facilities in room as well as communal kitchen & longe areas. Quiet area between Queenstown & Arrowtown which is worth the visit. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended "

"Spent two nights here, bracketing a day trip to Milford Sound. Arrowtown is cute, historic (with an extensive and excellent historical museum), small, friendly and intimate community. The cottage we had, two bedrooms (and two en-suite bathrooms!) was comfortable, roomy and we’ll equipped. Great beds and bedding, gardens, very quiet at night. Owner was helpful and outgoing with every inquiry we had. Compared to bustling, modern and impersonal Queenstown it was heaven. NO complaints, relaxed...
