"Still very basic breakfast although now includes tomatoes and, my favourite, hash browns. However, as breakfast included in room costs, one shouldn't be over-critical! Added bonus was staff politely ensuring all diners had finished before switching off and clearing away. Previously staff switched off equipment 10 minutes before closing without any conversation or warning! Reception staff (sorry didn't get his name) friendly, polite and helpful. Bathroom in our room was especially clean."

"My room was large, clean and had all the facilities needed accessed through the bar, few stairs and a long winding corridor with tatty threadbare carpet in places. "This property is ideally placed to visit Grassington and walks around the area. It is clean, well appointed and first class en suite bathroom facilities. The down side is that there are a lot of rooms and a number of the occupants came into this venue later into the night. The doors are vintage as are the locks etc, so we found it a bit noisy and had a disturbed sleep. "
