"We stayed here for 2 nights on a last minute decision. The communication from the owner was excellent and it was easy to find, even at night in the dark. A lovely little apartment, well equipped and the log burner was much appreciated. Excellent location in a lovely town, full of very friendly people. My only suggestion would be that the bed could do with a topper. That's not a criticism though, we would definitely go back. "

"The property is clean, tidy and well maintained. Kitchen has everything you may need(dishwasher, decent cooker etc). Living room has a nice sofa, books, board games and some local info for those that need it. Plenty of space for the 2 of us and our dog with some nice walks straight out of the door. "Contacted property manager and Vrbo the day before to enquire about accessing the property. Received no response. Called the owner at 9.15 on the day. He sounded confused but raised no issue, so I got on with my day. Received a text after 10.30 to say the property was not available! Apparently vrbo had not coordinated the availability. Host offered to book us into a local hotel…. Not ideal as we could have done that ourselves (and chosen a better hotel) but we had plans with friends and dinner...

The house was the perfect base for us and is a charming and comfortable place to stay. It has everything you could need and the instructions, welcome pack and facilities were first rate.
